On 13 July 2026, representatives from the BlueAI consortium gathered at the facilities of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO-CSIC) in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia, Spain) for an in-person project meeting focused on reviewing the work carried out during the first months of the project and planning the next stages of implementation.
The meeting brought together researchers from the University of Murcia (UMU), the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO-CSIC), the University of Vigo (UVIGO), the University of Salamanca (USAL) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV).
Throughout the day, partners presented the progress achieved in the different work areas, discussed ongoing technical developments and coordinated upcoming activities. The meeting also provided an opportunity to align priorities, exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration across the consortium as BlueAI moves into its next phase.
Face-to-face meetings play an important role in ensuring effective coordination between partners, facilitating technical discussions and supporting the collaborative development of the project’s objectives.
BlueAI continues advancing towards the development of innovative Artificial Intelligence solutions for marine and environmental monitoring through close collaboration between the participating institutions.
